Jeffrey D. Powell is an executive-level investment bank professional. Throughout all of his successes, Jeff has demonstrated the importance of giving back. Jeff is an active board member and community humanitarian in New York and Texas. Former and present board positions include the Houston Habitat for Humanity, Houston Homeless SEARCH, Buffalo Soldiers National Museum Fund Raising Co-Chair, Texas Southern University School of Business Fellowship Board, and Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church Finance Committee Co-Chair.

Jeff continues to gain recognition for his accomplishments and philanthropic endeavors. He is also an active member and alumni of the United Way of Greater Houston Project Blueprint Class XXIV, Leadership Houston Class XXXII, and American Leadership Forum Class XLII.

In 2021, Jeff was selected to participate in McKinsey & Company's Advancing Black Executives Houston Cohorts.

Jeff's 25-year executive-level banking experience includes three of the United States' big four banks — Wells Fargo, Merrill Lynch/Bank of America, and J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.

Jeff earned his BS from the State University of New York Brockport. In addition, he holds multiple NASD Securities Licenses and his Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis Certification from the College for Financial Planning.

In 2022, Jeff completed Harvard Kennedy School Public Leadership Credential with plans to transition into HKS’s Masters in Public Policy.
